Lebanon's Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has commented that Israel's warlike Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to divide the Middle East. He said, the Israeli leader wants to make this region a hell.

The Lebanese speaker said these words on Saturday amid the intensity of the Israeli aggression on the recently blockaded Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

He said it is essential to give strong support to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing genocide by occupying Israel.

Nabih Berri said Israel's extremist cabinet led by Benjamin Netanyahu was ready to create a situation that would tear the region into pieces. Where Israel will survive as the strongest entity.

In this situation, we must stand by Gaza and support the legitimate right of the Palestinian nation to establish an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital, he said. At the same time, the ongoing genocide in Gaza must be stopped.
