Israel is worried about the number of active fighters in Palestine

The Israeli media has expressed concern and fear about the number of active Hamas fighters in the area as the Palestinian fighters' resistance campaign against the Jews who settled illegally in the West Bank of the occupied Jordan River intensified.

In the fourth day of the Israeli military offensive in the West Bank on Sunday, as the Palestinian independence organizations are mounting fierce resistance and hitting the attackers with heavy blows, Israeli sources are showing alarming information about the statistics of active resistance fighters in the West Bank.

Israeli media have acknowledged that at least 23 resistance battalions, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, are currently active in the West Bank. That's twice the number of battalions in the Gaza Strip.

At the same time Al-Aqsa Martyrs Battalion, Al-Quds Battalion and Al-Mujahideen Battalion in Jenin announced that they are fighting the Israeli occupation forces on different fronts in the ongoing conflict. They counterattacked Israeli forces with guns and explosives and put up fierce resistance.

Local media also reported intense clashes between the occupying Israeli army and Palestinian resistance fighters in the town of Barkin, west of Jenin.

The Israeli army announced last week the start of its massive offensive in the northern areas of the occupied West Bank. Many Palestinians were killed and injured in these operations. Some of the infrastructure in these areas have been destroyed by the occupying regime forces. Source: IRNA
