Tesla's CEO introduced the Optimus concept in 2021. This robot is capable of doing various service tasks starting from factory work. Tesla has been putting a lot of emphasis on training Optimus since last year. For this purpose, many workers have already been appointed. These workers will wear motion-capture suits and train Optimus to help monitor walking movements.
This post is called 'Data Collection Operator'. Employees in this position must walk specific streets wearing motion-capture suits and virtual reality headsets for more than seven hours. Duties also include data collection, analysis, report writing and general machinery-related chores. Candidates height should be between 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 11 inches for this job. Apart from this, workers must have the ability to carry loads up to 13 kg and the mentality of wearing a virtual reality (VR) headset for long periods of time.
