The United States is providing another $125 million in military aid to Ukraine

Washington may announce a new package of $125 million in military aid to Ukraine on Friday, the AP reported.

According to a report citing anonymous sources, the new package includes anti-aircraft missiles, high mobility artillery rocket systems (MIMARS), Javelin anti-tank weapons, counter-drone and counter-electronic warfare systems and other equipment. With 155 mm. and 105 mm. Artillery shells may also be included. 

Earlier, White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said on August 15 that Washington plans to provide an additional military aid package to Ukraine 'within the coming weeks'.

Earlier, the US newspaper Politico, citing people close to the matter, said that the United States is looking forward to providing Ukraine with Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM). However, no final decision has been taken yet.
