Severe storm-heavy rain in Saudi, two died


Two people died in Saudi Arabia due to heavy rain and strong storm. Three people are missing. A civil defense team rescued an injured child from Asir province in the southwest of Saudi Arabia. Two died in that province. 

According to Gulf News, a Middle East-based media outlet, several cars were swept away by a strong current of water on a road in Asir province. A child was rescued with injuries from a car that was washed away by water. Two bodies were recovered from there. 
   
Meanwhile, the country's National Security Service has issued a warning of more heavy rain in Mecca. Red alert has been issued in several regions of Saudi Arabia due to heavy rainfall. These include Taif, Ardiat, Adam, Bani Yazid and Mesan regions.

This information was given in a forecast issued by the National Meteorological Department of the country. It is said that this weather condition will remain till next Tuesday. The weather forecast has signaled heavy rain as well as thunder. Lightning forecast has been issued especially in Makkah Nijran, Jizhan, Asir, Al Baha.  

Since Friday afternoon, the presence of clouds has increased in Jizhan, Asir, Al Baha, Makkah and Madinah. Apart from this, widespread lightning also occurred in Jizhan and Asir. Flooding has occurred in many places due to heavy rains.
