Iran is sending 14 satellites into space

Iran is preparing to send 14 more satellites into space. Hassan Salarieh, the head of the country's space research center, made this announcement.

Salaryeh said that Iran's space research agency has successfully sent eight satellites into orbit. Which is equal to the success of three previous governments in launching satellites.

Iran's Space Research Center has accelerated domestic satellite design and production by undertaking joint projects with the private sector. The agency has 14 satellites scheduled for launch. Another 30 satellites are under construction. Of these, 20 will be constructed through the private sector.

In recent years, Iran has made amazing progress in technology, including space research. In April 2020, Iran announced the successful launch of its first military satellite. Later in March 2022, they sent a second military satellite into space. Meanwhile, the country is also building the largest space center in the Middle East in Chabahar, the southeastern port city of Iran.
