It is somewhat obvious that Kamala Harris will be nominated as a presidential candidate. So there has been speculation about who Harris will choose as his running mate, the vice presidential candidate, if he runs for president.

The running mate will be named at the Democratic National Convention. As a result, the search for who will be this running mate has already started. There are about 10 names in this list.

Notable among these are – Roy Cooper, Josh Shapiro and Mark Kelly. They are asked to provide their financial status, family history and other personal information from the party.

Other possible candidates include Andy Beshear, JB Pritzker, Pete Buttigieg, Gretchen Whitmer and Gavin Newsom.

Harris can choose any one of these candidates as his running mate. Let's take a look at this list of candidates

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro won the 2022 election by a landslide. He became the state's third Jewish governor, defeating a hard-right senator who rejected the results of the 2020 election.

Shapiro, 51, also served as state attorney general, county commissioner and state representative before becoming governor. Many Democrats also supported him as a possible presidential candidate.

Josh Shapiro is likely to be Kamala Harris' running mate if she gets nominated. "He's a great ally of the president and me," Harris was previously quoted as saying of him.
