Iran has warned Israel about attacking Lebanon

Israel and Lebanon clash over rocket attack on Golan Heights. Meanwhile, Iran has warned Israel of planning a 'new campaign' in Lebanon.

On Sunday, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani warned Israel about Lebanon in a statement.

A deadly rocket attack took place on a soccer field in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights yesterday Saturday. 12 teenagers were killed in the attack. Their age is between 10 to 20 years.

After the attack, the Israeli military blamed Lebanon's Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would respond to the attack on the same day.

Hezbollah has denied responsibility for the attack on the Golan Heights.

Meanwhile, in response to the rocket attack in the Golan Plateau area, the Israeli forces announced that they will carry out airstrikes targeting Hezbollah's positions last night.
